Officers were able to locate three victims, take their statements confirming the mail theft, and release the mail to them. 19-78146 / Occupied Stolen Vehicle / Marysville Blvd and Claire Ave0043 Hrs / 2AOfficer Hastings was patrolling in the north area when he located a stolen vehicle that had recently gone through a POD. They observed a silver Mercedez driving nearby (same description as the suspect vehicle observed in the previous 459s) and conducted a traffic stop (vehicle was in violation of 4000a VC). Officers located a truck on scene that belonged to one of the detainees. About 90 minutes later, the victims mother called SPD to report the robbery. Detectives were contacted and they advised XX was a person of interest in the related burglary. The pedestrian landed in the #2 northbound lane of Rio Linda Blvd. Officer arrived on scene and noted that nobody was inside the two vehicles that had been crashed into and that the driver of the SUV was not on scene. The male was arrested for his PAL warrant and transported to jail. A stop was made and it was determined that the subjects inside were actually playing Pokemon Go, driving around looking for virtual creatures using their phone GPS. The victim sustained moderate injuries including two broken hands, and was transported to Sutter for treatment. TAC14 and 2A22arrived to assist. 19-356221 / SSTOP / Empress and ElCamino / 2B / 1012 Hrs. 19-343142 / 1000 block Pinedale Ave / Search Warrant. The suspect gave PD consent to look in his cell phone. Officers contacted Lincoln PD and confirmed that Nedbalo matched the descriptors and was most likely the suspect. Officers contacted 2 subjects at the above location. 2C/Old North Sacramento/xxx El Camino/Tstop-(Identity Theft/496 Arrest)/0939 hours/19-141969. 20-28508 / 215T@ 2000 block Del Paso Blvd. Officers responded to a one round shotspotter and observed nothing 927 in the complex. You will be able to see that crime is going up and we have a long way to go. Officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the mall. Thanks for the help SWAT, K9, SS, CNT, and any other officers involved. Officers observed 1 bag containing 15 grams of cocaine in plain view on the passenger seat. The gun wasfound to be stolen out of Minnesota. After being unable to locate the suspect the perimeter was C10d by SSD. As they attempted to turn around the vehicle quickly pulled into a driveway. / 1C. Officers contacted the subject was disoriented and completely non-verbal/unable to communicate. The truck decided not to stay long, and proceeded back S/B on Northgate, before stopping at the Circle K at Northgate & Rio Tierra. 2B / Resisting Arrest UOF / Del Paso Blvd & Pilgrim Ct / 1604 hours. He was arrested. Both subjects were removed from the vehicle and a probation search was conducted. Officers learned from the (Vs) that they had been coming home from the store to their apt complex on Rio Linda when a MBA with dreads wearing a black hoodie with some writing similar to the Cali flag on the front robbed them. During the course of the inventory Off Bell located approx 11 pounds of dried MJ in bags and inlarge mason jars; (S) did not have a good answer as to why the MJ was in his (the stolen) car. Inside of the bag wasa ziploc bag containing approx2.5 grams ofpowder cocaine, 24 empty pill capsules, a digital scale and approx $369 in cash. 20-17488/ SSTOP/ Indiana and Northgate/ 1C/2211 hrs. Once enough units were on scene, suspects were safely taken into custody. When they flipped back around to make contact the (S) ran for the house he was parked in front of. On 6/19 officers from the North Marijuana Compliance Team (NMCT) served a search warrant in the 2500 block of Autumn Meadow Avenue where they located a residence that was fully converted to a marijuana grow house. He was taken into custody for possession of a dirk or dagger without incident. 19-115896 / 211 @ 4780 Natomas Blvd. The vehicle was driving very slowly east on Jessie Ave. Officers caught up to the vehicle as it was pulling into the Viva Supermarket parking lot. Officers responded to the DSW Shoe store regarding a possible 459. SPD received a silent burglary alarm from 2020 Club Center Dr (Ace Hardware). Officer and I responded over to the bar and were informed that the guy we were looking for was in the back. The victim was hit one time (not critical). With the assistance of Arden Mall Security and SSD, the occupants were located in the Kohls Department Store. In the holster was a very real looking C02 Berretta style semi auto. Units responded to this location for a citizen following a DUI driver, who had already been in a 901. The suspects then walked out of the store and were last seen getting into an unknown vehicle. Victim did get her knees scraped up during the initial purse snatch. The driver was identified and wasfound to have a suspended license. Officers responded to Inderkum HS regarding a burglary to storage containers near the athletic fields. While officers were checking the area for the suspect vehicle, another caller called in (19-227566) saying that he was also hit by pellets while he rode his bike. She advised he had a handgun. Suspect XXXx, F/S Prob, lengthy 459 arrest history. The victim was on parole and had two felony warrants. He acknowledged his probation status and upon physical contact went tense. A subsequent investigation determined he was quite inebriated and blew a .20% BAC. While on scene at jail the passenger advised officers that he had additional 928 hidden in on his body. Upon contact the passenger was found to have 2 Fel No Bail warrants and the driver had a 50K misdo. 19-127199 / Follow Up Pursuit Arrest / Grand Ave & Balsam St / 0216 hours / 2A. He contacted the female driver who claimed to be looking for her phone. All of the items were inside a backpack. Arrested; (S) Nathaniel Calloway 2/16/63, 211 PC, 19-226915 / Shotspotter / 2800 block of Del Paso Blvd / 2B / 2224hrs. The subject pulled into a gas station on Northgate Bl where units detained him without incident. As a result we will be taking enforcement action this week around several schools during student drop off and pick up times. A probation search was conducted on his person, total haul.. 50 rocks of cocaine and cash, leading to a solid narcotic sales case. Today she was at the park and a BMA approached her, fondling her over her clothing. RPD remained #1 in the pursuit with 1B23, K91 & K98 assisting. (S) appeared to have taken pills of an unknown nature that may have been responsible for his non responsive nature. It began with a fight with known subjects. Officers located two vehicles 505ing in the parking lot of Noralto Elementary. Late Watch Officer Macclean (1A26) observed a White Honda Accord (#7HJK173) driving erratically and attempted to stop it. The suspect was confronted by homeowner in the backyard of the residence. A field show up was positive and he was also still in possession of the knife. Collectively, this is the 60th search warrant written this year by officers in MCT, great work all! The complainant was not able to identify the subjects on the property. When he answered, there was an unknown MBA and FBA saying that the victim owned them money. Officers responded to a pedestrian down in the roadway after being hit by a vehicle. After shooting at the cab driver the suspect went back inside the house. Located inside the backpack was some methamphetamine. Once a Reserve officer arrived on-scene, most of the group scattered in different directions and cleared off mall property. He was found to be on probation with a lengthy history of meth related offenses and theft cases. At some point, his vehicle was shot at multiple times. A horse got spooked & bucked the rider while out for a stroll in Del Paso Park. 19-377144 / 921p / 2600 block River Plaza Dr / 0131 hours / 1B(RELATED TO RECENT CAR BURGLARY SPREES). He was arrested and booked into jail for multiple weapons violations. & Fairfield Street. Downtown units responded to the victim vehicle and made contact. Officers responded to the above area after receiving a POD hit on a black Subaru Impreza that was wanted out of Milpitas for an armed robbery. 19-75893 / Felony Assault / 4300 block of Burgess Dr. Suspect vehicle crashed into another vehicle at Rio Linda Blvd / Crystal Rd where it became disabled into a wood post on the westside of the roadway. The subject then jumped over the fence and hid in bushes. 19-368772: 459- guns stolen: 5600 block Erskin Fish Way: 1A: CSO Walker responded to a burglary report. The driver was on probation for 664/459 PC. The 459 was determined to be unfounded and just a 415. In addition, upon exiting his veh, the driver handed over a vile of meth that he had in his hand. During the search of the vehicle, NGET located a loaded shotgun with removed serial numbers and no buttstock. SSD came up on the air and advised that their gang unit served a multi-location SW on the owner of the Charger. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a Milwaukee Sawz-all with metal cutting blades and an industrial car jack. Officers went to the room and attempt to contact the guest with no response. Officer contacted a suspicious vehicle occupied by a female. He did not provide much information, but Officer Brown was able to identify the serial number of the firearm that was stolen. During the contact, they located a loaded revolver on a female passenger. Additionally he located 3 cellular phones, empty plastic baggies, and cash. Nobody on scene would provide any details of the incident. 1B: SPD received calls re: shots fired from a vehicle. During a search of the vehicle they located a loaded .40 caliber Glock 27 pistol stuffed behind the glove box and a bag of extra ammunition on the floorboard. 19-370411 / Pursuit / Truxel Rd & Arena Bl / 0407 hours / 1A. The driver fled southbound towards I-80 and Rio Linda Blvdand the rear passenger fled northbound towards Granger Ave. CHP AIR23 was overhead and stayed with the driver. A NCIC check showed the male to be on F/S probation out of Placer County, and awaiting a court trial in Sacramento for a pursuit in a stolen vehicle. Officers responded to a call of 2 male subjects breaking into cars. Officer from NGET Shotspotter assisted by writing a search warrant into the residence. Although these typically occur in our retail centers, the most recent spike has occurred in our neighborhoods. Officers conducted a search of the residence and located a loaded, stolen, .357 revolver in the undercarriage of Daniels vehicle. A search of his person recovered several other Toyota keys and more Toyota keys were recovered from the stolen vehicle. Officers canvassed the area but UTL. 19-76950 / Resisting Arrest / Acacia Ave and Rio Linda Blvd2310 Hrs / South Hagginwood (2B)Ofc. The suspect was described as a M/H/A, mid 20s-early 30s, chubby, shaggy hair and clean shaven. 20-2277 / 921 / 3100 block Tice Creek Way / 0146 hours / 1B. The vehicle owners were contacted and of course were surprised to learna strangerwas in their car. The ex-boyfried threatened to assault them, police were called but no report taken. A perimeter was setup. The female suspect is a suspect in a current storage facility 459 in the county that SSD is working. The victim was not hurt. Stiles exited his vehicle and ran towards the door where Officer Tsverov caught him. Officer conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. CSO Singh followed the smoke to the above area where he was flagged down by witnesses pointing to the suspect who was walking away. Subject ran and jumped into the backyard of 645 Morey Ave. Subject then somehow got onto a rooftop and jumped from one house to the next where eventually he jumped to the ground breaking his ankle. After tying the rope, suspect exits the building (out of camera view), and seconds later vehicle takes off with ATM in tow. Officers quickly descended upon the area although the (Ss) had already left. He was eventually found out to be a Parolee at Large. No injuries occurred. The victim was arguing with a known subject over money owed. A MWA was located with the van and during the investigation, it was determined that he had been in possession of the van, but denied stealing it. While on scene the registered owner of the suspect vehiclewalked back bythe scene. Follow-up will have to be done to obtain the surveillance fromRound Table. The subject went around the vehicle and entered into the side door. MCT Officer conducted follow up on a power theft at the above location, as it was reported by SMUD. When officers attempted to make a traffic stop the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. The driver eventually tried hiding on North Ave. A quick perimeter was set up around the apartment complex and the air unit was able to direct officers into his hiding spot. Impact Team / Felony Assaultsforwarded this information as well. unmarked car which lost the suspect. A contact team was set up and made entry into the apartment. Both were detained without incident. The vehicle was located, and the driver was arrested for 10851 VC and 496 PC. No cameras found in the area. Complainant called in saying he observed a MHA in a black tank top with multiple tattoos wearing a handgun on his hip. The driver eventually stopped her vehicle at Rivera dr/ High st. The parcel owner was provided an AP fine. He was lodged in jail downtown. Officers responded to the above location regarding a business burglary. Officers spotted the suspect vehicle as it was getting onto westbound I-80. 20-130215, 1800 block Del Paso Blvd., 459P @ 1959 hrs (2C). The 2 suspects were taken into custody and numerous laptops and tablets were located in the vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Acura sedan. Later, the homeless subj saw the victim againnearthe market and confronted him with a smallhatchet. Suspects were 2 MBAs and 3 FBAs. Officers stopped a vehicle at this location and arrested driver for a no bail gun warrant. Shetold officers that she had just taken her 2 small children to the drive in movies where she drank some beer. Communities within this boundary include: Gardenland, North Sacramento, South Natomas, and North Natomas. Units arrived and made contact with both subjects who were sleeping/passed out from recently doing drugs. 4 grams of meth, two scales and aprox $1500.00 in small bills. The suspect became so upset about money the victim owed him, that he stabbed the victim through his hand.
