18 March 2003
Dear Friends,
On the next 17th of May, our B'nai
B'rith Lodge "Maimonides" will reach its 60th
Anniversary.
We are proud that our Lodge has
been active for six decades and is still enthusiastically
working to benefit our members as well as others in the Jewish
Community of Cuba. During these many years we have made a great
effort to develop an interest among our members in Jewish
knowledge and a sense of devotion to the welfare of our people
and of all mankind.
We wish to celebrate our
achievements and to honor in this auspicious occasion some
members of the Cuban Jewish community that have been significant
personalities in Cuban culture.
Thus, we are preparing a program
that will occur on Saturday, May 17,
2003 at the Patronato
in Havana. It would be
wonderful you could join us for our celebration.
For any additional information
you can contact with us by e-mail iroussolil@yahoo.com or by fax
to the synagogue Beth Shalom in Havana (+537) 33 3778.
Kind regards,
Isaac Rousso President
